If I was on vacation I would be at a beach in Virginia so I could go boogy boarding and go swimming. I hope that Hendrex likes me now but if he does not I can live with it. I also hope that I can do lazer tag or go-cart track.

"Surfing Chimp Saves the Child"


One day there was a chimp surfing. He was surfing in Hawaii.When he saw a child way out at sea . He was trying to go out to save the child. But the waves were too strong. He was just getting back up to shore.Two hours past... he couldn't get out to sea. After that he got his boat, and went to save the child. When he had got out there he didn't see anyone, but he heard something.Then he went under water and saw a child.He went under to save the child. He had saved the child but only one thing could happen. They ran out of gas so they had to paddle back.Then a shark was chasing them but that is a different story.

I hope in 5th grade that we don't have any homework that would be good. I hope she has a smart board and a big class room. I also hope we can have lots of fun in 5th grade.
In 5th grade I hope that we will learn a lot more . I hope in 5th grade it will go by very quickly.
In 5th grade I hope she has a red couch just like Mrs. Pearson. I'm really going to miss 4th grade.That is most of what I hope in 5th grade.

One day I was watching the Red Sox play the Yankees. Dave Grohl was playing center field. Derek Jeter was up for the Yankees. Cole was pitching. Cole threw his fastball, and Derek hit it to center field. David caught it and that ended the inning. When the game was over the Red Sox won eight to one. When I woke up the next morning I was 20 feet tall. I had to crawl just to get outside. When I was outside I said to myself, “This must be the curse of Babe Ruth.” So I had to live with this forever. So when I was in school I had to be taught everything in the gym.



P.S. When I died it took the whole graveyard to bury me.

what are your favorite things that we learned this year?

My favorite things we learned about this year were Vermont,decimals and science.

What I liked about Vermont is that we got to do photostories. What I liked about decimals is that we learend how to do them. Then it is easer to find them out if you think of money. What I liked about science is that we had to make a light bulb light. It was really fun. Because you could try to make the light bulb light brighter. You also try to make more than one light bulb light at the same time.

What if a ghost was driving the school bus?

Once upon a time there was a ghost driving the school bus.So yah, we were all riding the school bus when Nikol yellled "GHOST!!" Then we ran into a tree and all the emergancy exits closed solid.Solid."WE'RE STUCK WITH A MANIAC GHOST!!"said Nikol.
"Nikol I think you went a little to far"I said as the ghost started coming to the back of the bus were we had all huddled up.Then Aiden jumped in one of the open windows and said "Baby turtle ATTACK!!!!"And he threw it at the ghost "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH IT WENT RIGHT THROUGH HIM!"said Aiden and he jumped back out the window.
"I'm gonna beat this stupid guy!!"said Bailey and she jumped at him with her teeth looking like she was going to bite him.She went right through him and said "I think I broke my wrist agian." so finally we gave up we were all gonna die until mrs.Pearson showed up. she broked the windows and allowed us to get free.If only Steven didn't faint over mrs.Pearsons hottness we would have all been safe.But Steven got eaten.......

The field trip or your weekend.....

On Saturday I had my Zumba dance recital. I also went to my Grandma's house, and my cousins were there. I also went to the drive in and I watched Marmaduke and Shrek the final chapter. I got creemees which turned out to be a mix of three different flavors vanilla, chocolate, and maple. On Sunday I went to my grandma's church, and for the first time I thought it was cool. That is what I did over the weekend.

Rivers, streams and ponds....

I know that streams,ponds,and rivers have fish in them.I like to fish in the rivers and ponds, they also have rocks in them, I like to collect rocks. It is also fun to walk in them and splash people like your brother. What I use ponds for is to push my brother in the ponds. What I use streams for is to walk in them and find cool rocks. I also know that streams don't have much water in them, but they have lots of rocks.Ponds have some of a lot of water,there are really fun to play in with your dogs.That is what I like to do and what I know.

The store that I would open will be Morgan's All You Can Eat Buffet. Were we have mac and cheese,chicken wings,and even pancakes, and french toast sticks.There is also more food than that.Then what it looks like it looks like it is really fancy which it is.It also has pretty much everything that most restaurants do.Exept it has bigger booths than all of the rest of the restaurants.The booths are the really big round ones that curve around so then all of the people can sit together.Ok that is my story about opening my own restaurant and what I would serve for food and also what it would look like.What is your story about opening your own restaurant?

Weekend!

My weekend was good.Friday I went to our property in New York.We mowed the lawns and caught frogs. Then we went back home. Saturday I had a game against the white Sox.After I went with my pepere.We went fishing, mowed the lawns and went on the four wheeler.Monday morning my pepere looked outside and said it was foggy. Then we went outside and we smelled smoke and he thought the neighbors were burning. Then we figured out it was the wild fire in Canada.

This summer I hope that I make All-Stars. All-Stars is for baseball and if you are good enough then you will get to play for All-Stars. There is a 9-10 All-Stars and an 11-12 All-Stars. Last year I made All-Stars but I was only 8 so I couldn't play. I can't wait to figure out what you do in All-Stars but I know that you get to travel and play teams off island. I just hope that I don't miss any of my camps because I have already signed up for three or four. If I make All-Stars then I hope that I get to play first base a lot more. Since Auburn is on the team I usually play third base unless she is not at the game then first base is mine for the whole game. But sometimes it is the other way around and I am on first base. But once in a while I will pitch for a little bit. To make a long story short I can play anywhere.

Yesterday and today we learned about circuits by lighting a bulb with a battery or two. Ask your child how to make a light turn on, how to make it brighter, or how to make more than one bulb light! Very cool science!

What did you learn from trying to light the bulb yesterday?

I learned that the more d-cells you have the brighter the light bulb is. You need a d-cell to power the circuit. The positive charge had to touch the metal and the negitive charge touchs the gray ball and the light bulb lights up. If the negative and positive both touch the gray ball on light bulb does not light up. There needs to be be a full circuit for it to work. You will need these things to make the bulb light up. You will need one wire, one d-cell and one light bulb. Put the wire on one side of the d-cell and wrap it around the metal on the bulb then put the gray ball on the other side of the d-cell and it lights up.

ELF Field Trip

Dear Families;

Bill and Char would like to take us on a field trip to investigate streams and ponds at Niquette Bay Park on Tuesday, June 1.

We will leave school around 10:30 and return around 1:30. We will bring picnic lunches and eat at the park. Kids should bring lunches or order a bag lunch from the Abby.

We do need a few more drivers. If you can join us and drive a few kids, we would really appreciate it. Bill, Char, and a few of their relatives/friends have agreed to transport kids and a few can ride with me, but it would be great to have more drivers/chaperones.

It should be a lot of fun. We were thinking of June 8 as a rain date, in case of poor weather. Please let me know if you can join us!

Over the weekend I went to my cousin's house. JC came and we decided to run away from my brother and my cousin. Since my cousins have a barn it was the perfect place to hide. When they noticed we were missing they came to the barn to try to find us. We jumped over the fence and ran back to the house they still didn't know were we were until they saw us move. After they caught us we had a bon fire. We watched the bon fire for a little while and JC left. After that I watched my baby cousin my dad my brother and I left. When we got home it was 10 o'clock. I fell asleep at ten thirty and I woke up at six o'clock and went fishing. The first three fish my brother caught were all bass. After we were done fishing we went swimming for about an hour. After I went home and took a two hour nap and then I went to my grandma's house. For dinner we had pizza from A and B. When I was done I went outside to play lacrosse with my grandma's neighbor. P.S. The pizza was good!

I am good at singing and how I do it is I practice some songs. Then I would just makeup some of my own songs so that I can be a good singer when I am older. But when I am sick I cannot makeup any songs. Then I asked my mom "how can I sing so good" then she said that I got it from her. I was so happy that I found out that I could sing. Sense then I have sang almost everyday. I really like to listen to crazy songs.

I thought it would be fun to go swimming, but then....

I thought that swimming in the ocean would be fun , it started out great but then I saw 1,000 sting rays. I swam back as fast as I could. After that I took a break I told my mom all about it and she thought that I was crazy. Two hours later I went back in the water with my tube. Then I went to a different place and saw nothing so I went out some more, and got in my tube and let the wave pull me in.Then all of a sudden I herd a weird noise then I looked back and there was a shark coming after me I freaked out. I was sceaming on the top of my lungs . After that I decided to never go back in the ocean again.

We would go to the fair we would go on the bumper cars, the cups ,and the clown on the tall shoes would get tripped cause of his hat falling off and him slipping on it. I would watch the lion show the lion was about to jump through the ring of fire when I hit the protective glass and made him upset so he roared and hit the glass and the glass shattered into billions of pieces, then we were in trouble cause the lion was out and eating my popcorn, I pet him and he became my friend. I tamed him and taught him not to hurt people so he became my friend my mom said I could keep him. I kept him in a mini house that my dad and I built. We gave him a steak every night, and for breakfast he got bacon since he liked bacon so much I named him Jim Baconbits. The end.

"So Dave Grohl and I are getting married, Oh my God!" she fainted on her couch and I left the ring right beside her. The next day at school she was walking around invisible. "Every body asked 'where's Mrs. pearson". I said to them, "She is wearing Bilbo's ring."

I would want a law to be passed that you could be able to chew gum in school. I also would want a law to be passed that they would put in a pool at school.


The law I want the most is to be able to get out of school whenever you want. I would want a law to pass saying that every kid who is good at math does not have to go to school. Then that means I would not have to go to school.
Then even if you weren't good at math you would only have to go to school for an hour.

Vermont: Where have you been in Vermont? Why is it a good state?

I have been to my grandma's house and that is in Winooski. Every time a plane goes by it is really loud. I have been to the mall. I don't know where that is. Sometimes I go to Apple Bees. We also go to walmart.We where going to get our iPods when my mom herd the little doors where they kept the iPods open. Somebody had picked the lock on the doors. So my mom told the person at the counter if he could stop guy. So the person at the counter went over to him and said "sir do you need help with something?" and then the guy took all the iPod touchs he could get in his backpack and ran off. My mom and I where realloy scared and the cops said they got the guy but nut the iPods. So me and my mom went home.

Once upon a time I was directing a play in New York City, in front of the whole city. The play was Avtar, we practiced it for two months. And before the play everyone was scared and excited. It was finally time for the play, the play was an two hours & fifty minutes. An hour into the play it was going good. Two hours into the play I had to go out there and fix something, we did intermission. Then we all took a brake and then started it up agen.Then I stayed on stage and then I got off the stage. The play was over, we all got out of our costume. We all went home. The next day peolpe said good job, nice work.

Persuade Bilbo to go on the adventure, or stay home. What do you think he should do?

If I was Bilbo then I would go because if he didn't go then there would be no point of the "Lord of the Rings". In the "Lord of the Rings" Frodo, Bilbo's nephew, is trying to break the ring that Bilbo gave to him. Gandalf will try to take the ring from Bilbo but he will fail. I bet that Bilbo will find the ring and then he will realize that he doesn't want the ring. The ring can make you turn invisible and all that cool stuff. If I could do anything to that book I would make it that Bilbo would just make up his mind and go. Smaug is probably sleeping on the ring and Bilbo will find the ring. He won't think anything of it and put it on, and he will take it off as soon as he put it on. That is up to you to figure out why he took it off.

Vacation!

Over vacation I went over to Riley's house. When I went over we went to the drive in but it was raining. So we went to a movie storeand got Grand Thef Auto Vice City. Then we went home and I got cheets off the internet and we got a tank . It was hard puting cheets in because they are confusing. We stopped and went out side and we went night croller hunting. It is really fun. If you shing your light on them they go under ground and if you pull them to fast when they are going under ground they will brake. I bet we cought over 200 worms. the next day we went fishing we cought no fish so we went home. Then we went to the four wheeling place in Milton. When we got out Riley tried to put his four wheeler on the trailer and the things fell on the ground and he got hurt. There where these people there and when he fell they laughed then we went home to his house and I went home.On the way home I saw Nikol.

I was riding on my horse through Boston when I saw Paul Revere. We both stopped and he said, ''A hobo and a hobo horse"
''OK" I replied. Paul and his horse both started to spaz out. I continued on, and then I saw Paul again. Now he said, "It's you"and then he started to chase me. We went through the harbor and right into the live animal museam. He chased us right over the pirona tank. His horse tripped and fell in the tank.I was the protector of Boston. He still chased me over the tank. He fell in again but they left the bones in the tank the last time. Now he haunts the museam and any one who enters it.

Should Summer Vacation be Longer?

I think summer vacation should be longer because it gives us kids time to spend time with our family. Reason two, we have to spend some time out of school so we can rest our brains . Reason three, we can get a good job over the summer so we can get money for college. Reason four, maybe kids want to chill out over the summer. Reason five, us kids want to have a sleepover during the week. Reason six, we want to play all week and do a lot more. Reason seven, we need more time to ourselves and maybe we read during the summer.Reason eight, teachers need summer because they need to take classes. My opinion is you get really sweaty in school during the summer there is no air conditioning!

My dream school.....

In my dream school it would have a 25 foot long and 5 feet deep hot tub. It had a 50 foot long video game room. There would be five hours of recess. There are a few classes like gym, math and video games. It would have a 50 foot pool. Well one day Stephen came in the room and told me I was elected class presedent. I put a hot tub in the class and a 64 inch plasma tv. I put ten new computers in. I made the smart board two feet bigger. and the class had recess during that. Then I saw Stephen on the computers during gym!!! I gave him homework. Then I saw Cole looking at me as if I tolled him I would give him a years supply of food, so I did. He stopped looking at me. That is my dream school.

Brynn, last Friday we did 89,91, and 92 in the number corner book. Today we did session 17 in math.

How was your weekend?

My weekend was really good. On Saturday my mom went shopping with my nana. So Reeghyn and I stayed with my dad. We played Just Dance on the Wii. When they got back my mom put the groceries away, and she, my nana and I went to Plato's Closet. On our way there we saw My cousin Hannah and my uncle Jay at Seb's. We stopped there and picked up Hannah, we both got ice cream. At Plato's Closet I got one tanktop. When we got back Hannah and I helped my nana babysit aiden and his two brothers. One is a baby. Their names are Nathan and Owen. Nathan is the baby. On sunday my nana, Hannah, Reeghyn, Aiden, my mom, and I went to McDonalds for lunch. When we got back Hannah and I played American Girl Dolls. We brought Aiden home. My dad, my mom, Reeghyn, Hannah and I watched The Blind Side. It was a great movie.

What if you became a superhero and had to save the world?

If I was a superhero and I had to save the world I would be Ryman. My arch enemy is Colezilla, he can eat anything. Colezilla was using his Gigantifiar to make everything huge. He did that so he had more stuff to eat. Today he was in New York City. He was trying to find the biggest cake so he could make it even bigger. But Ryman was way ahead of him, Ryman was already in the city. After he got people far away, using his super strength to help. Now all Ryman had to do was wait. When Ryman started to feel the ground shake he got ready to fight. He started off trying to weekin Colezilla by blasting him with his eye lasers. It got Colezilla on the ground but he wasn't dead. Ryman started to use his super strength to pickup a huge building and he threw it on him. Now Colezilla was hurt pretty bad until he healed himself byeating the door off of a car. He shot flames out of his mouth and burned the building in a couple of seconds. When he got up Ryman shot him with his atomic laser and he flew far far away. After Colezilla was gone Ryman blew up the gigantifiar.

What if a mad scientist took over the classroom?

If a mad scientist took over the classroom...
Then he would make us do more science. It would be horrible. He would make us figure out how to make Bose Einstein Condensates, which is hard. We never did figure it out, but he tried everything! He even lets us put a few ice cubes in the refrigerator. Then he made us figure out everything we haven't even started to learn yet. All I heard was, blah, blah, blah, and blah, and blah. I wish Mrs. Pearson was back. She isn't here because she was sick today. I never thought I would say this but I think thew teacher is to smart for us. He was to busy giving us a lecture on how much he's doing to figure out BEC we couldn't go to gym. Today we were supposed to be playing floor hockey. My favorite thing to do in gym. So yes this is getting a little to far. On the playground (thank goodness he let us out for recess!) the whole class made a plan to get rid of him. We all looked in the window at him, his hair was on fire, then we herd a explosion. I'm guessing that his experiment didn't work. When we went inside all of us took him threw him out the door and locked everything. All of us had to sneak out the window to get to the bus on time, but it was worth it.

If I were stranded alone on an island then I would run into the ocean and attempt to drown myself. But then I saw a big cruise ship with a music competition and I saw my saxophone on the island. I would run to my instrument and run to get onto the dock so the ship could pick me up. When I got on the ship I saw a big sign that read "The Greatest Music Competition in the World!'' Then below it there was a sign that read , ''The Winner of This Competition Will Get to be a Bat-Boy for whatever Baseball Team you want.'' So after that week I practiced playing the saxophone on my back while I have a very sharp knife balancing on my nose. The judges thought that I did the best so I won. I picked to be a Bat-Boy for the Boston Red Sox. I got 100,000 dollars for winning the competition, and I got paid 5,000 dollars a month for being the Bat-Boy.

The day I went bungee jumping...

The day I went bungee jumping was when I went to the Champlan Valley Fair, and I did a few back flips and two front flips then I just bounced for a while. Then I had to get off but it was fun while it lasted. But when we got home I went to bed then I had dreamed that I was still bungee jumping and I did two back flips in a row then I did three front flips in a row. But then I froze in mid air then Indians were shooting arrows at me then I woke up. Then I said, "Thank God it was a dream."

What has been the most fun activity at school so far?

My favorite thing that I did this year so far was probably when we did floor hockey and soccer .I also liked when we went on the field trip to the Flynn to see Jackie Robinson . Can you imagine living your life the way he did ? I also liked when we had ELF, and there were deer and they had to get the food but, then there was a wolf that would tag them .I also thought it was fun in Words Come Alive when we did the slave ship it must have been hard staying in the ship four to six weeks .

The day I babysat a monkey...

The day I babysat a monkey was horrible. The monkey wasn't potty trained so I had to train him. We played destroy the house. I didn't think it was a good idea, but I thought it sounded fun. When I was little I had bad scars all over my body. One scar was from when I was racing my dog and I did a face plant into the ground. Another one is when I cracked my head open riding in a jeep and it flipped back and I cracked my head open. I went to the hospital and they tried to give me stitches but I kept moving so they gave me staples. I also got stung in the eye by a bee because I stepped in a hole with them in it. Last I was trying to open a frozen chocolate bar and I was using a very sharp knife and I almost lost my thumb.

Dear diary,
I thougtht this was going to be the best day ever. A half day. But then aliens started to take ove the world. The only safe place left was the school, but right now I'm writing and also under my bed. The door just burst open, in walked what had webbed feet, it's face looked slimy, and for clothes he was wearing tin foil. I was never scared of anything but that all changed when I saw that ting. He kept mumbling "destroy girl destroy girl,." Wow I wish somone would save me from this whole nightmare. Thats when he looked under the bed. And I saw one eye in the middle of his head. I kicked his eye and he fell over screaming "you hurt me, meanie!" He was very ugly. I ran out of my room, he just kept kicking the floor, I could hear the pound from one mile away. I ran outside and saw what they came in. It was a spaceship. I stood wide eyed with my mouth wide open. I wish that this would all stop. I felt someone take me by the arm, they dragged to their ship. The leader was waiting for me. I went over he handed me an apple. I took a bite I instantly fell to the floor. 15 minutes later I was in a room in a chair with the leader by my side.
He said I want what you have.
"What would that be?" I asked
"The golden egg, duh!"
"WHAT GOLDEN EGG?" I yelled.
"What is that in your pocket?"
I reached in and grabbed what was it I took it out and it was an egg, golden it sparkled in the light. "That," he said, "is what I am looking for. To get back to my planet." He took it and put it in something I could not see. He also pushed me out monsters piled and back to there planet they went. I decided to just go to get a smoothie at Cole's Snack Bar, it had been a long day.

One day I went to my uncle Taylor's house lookin to buy some hay for big Woodie but only saw something even scary. One day I went to uncle Tailor's. When I peeked through a hole in the door and saw that my uncle Tailor was a little green leprechaun. "Do the humans know about the lep-recon unit yet?" Then I said, "That sounds like leprechaun. I better tell everybody else." Then all the sudden every leprechaun disappeared, even my grandpa. Ten years had passed. I still hadn't seen my grandpa yet until weird things started happening. Four leaf clovers appeared all over around Vermont. Then sightings of little green leprechauns started showing up until the leprechauns leader showed up. It was Leponeanndinomite. Then me and Leponeanndinomite battled in the end he got killed. the end.

We had a GREAT trip to the Flynn with the 7th grade today. The performance of the history of Jackie Robinson's breaking of the color barrier was intense. I am glad we read a few books about his life and were prepared to see it acted out.
