Henry Hudson worked for the Dutch. He was a English man. Henry was looking for a ship to China. In 1609 Henry Hudson went up a river that then was named for him. Then one day he found a bunch of people who wanted to trade. If we wanted to trad then tere would be something called a trading post. A trading post was called Manhattan I think.Thats what I know about Henry Hudson.
