Tell a story of when you were little...

When I was little I had bad scars all over my body. One scar was from when I was racing my dog and I did a face plant into the ground. Another one is when I cracked my head open riding in a jeep and it flipped back and I cracked my head open. I went to the hospital and they tried to give me stitches but I kept moving so they gave me staples. I also got stung in the eye by a bee because I stepped in a hole with them in it. Last I was trying to open a frozen chocolate bar and I was using a very sharp knife and I almost lost my thumb.

p.s.almost losing your thumb is very scary!

My food is very spicy, and it contains of five cups of tobasco sauce. Then you have to mix that in with some cheese. Once you're done with that you have to put in some tomato sauce to make it look right. After that you have to spread that over some dough. Then you have to sprinkle even more cheese over it. Then you bake for how much time you want to bake this meal. Then you tell you're guests that it is a very good cheese pizza. Last when they taste it they will start doing some kind of crazy dance. Then when they are done doing their dance you will tell them the ingredients and say that it is called Fireball pizza then they will say that it was a nice joke and go drink tons of water.

The year it wouldn't stop raining was the year 2011. It started when the penny war started. We won but it was said that the third grade was going to win so it started to rain. It rained and hailed at the same time. The third grade got in second place. Nathan got hit by a piece of hail that was the size of milk carton. Then Nathan ran like a big bug. Stephen got hit by rain and fainted. Brynn was hitting the pieces of hail with her hockey stick. After that year it looked like a mud pool! The end.

On Saturday from 1:00 to 7:15 my nana watched Reeghyn and I. I had skating at 2:00 this time because my group got to spend the day with the Advanced Class. I saw Mrs. Kolk's daughter Taylor. My cousin Hannah came with us. When we got back we played babies.At 7:15 my mom and dad came home. My mom got new moon. After my nana left we watched it. Hannah got to stay and watch it with us. Yesterday my mom, Reeghyn, Aiden, Hannah, my nana, and I went across the lake to Wal-
mart. Reeghyn got a new bike and I got a new stuffed animal. After we were done, we went back over the lake and brought Aiden home. Then my nana dropped Reeghyn, Hannah, my mom, and I at my house. Hannah, Reeghyn, and I played babies.

New trimester goals...

My goals for this trimester are... improving problem solving in math. I would also like to not miss a day of school for the entire trimester. That would only be one day that I missed for the entire year. I would like to stay the way I am in reading. I would also like to improve in social studies. I also don't want to be late at all because if I'm late that would be only one time being late for the year, if I'm not late I would not be late at all.

Dear diary,
I thougtht this was going to be the best day ever. A half day. But then aliens started to take ove the world. The only safe place left was the school, but right now I'm writing and also under my bed. The door just burst open, in walked what had webbed feet, it's face looked slimy, and for clothes he was wearing tin foil. I was never scared of anything but that all changed when I saw that ting. He kept mumbling "destroy girl destroy girl,." Wow I wish somone would save me from this whole nightmare. Thats when he looked under the bed. And I saw one eye in the middle of his head. I kicked his eye and he fell over screaming "you hurt me, meanie!" He was very ugly. I ran out of my room, he just kept kicking the floor, I could hear the pound from one mile away. I ran outside and saw what they came in. It was a spaceship. I stood wide eyed with my mouth wide open. I wish that this would all stop. I felt someone take me by the arm, they dragged to their ship. The leader was waiting for me. I went over he handed me an apple. I took a bite I instantly fell to the floor. 15 minutes later I was in a room in a chair with the leader by my side.
He said I want what you have.
"What would that be?" I asked
"The golden egg, duh!"
"WHAT GOLDEN EGG?" I yelled.
"What is that in your pocket?"
I reached in and grabbed what was it I took it out and it was an egg, golden it sparkled in the light. "That," he said, "is what I am looking for. To get back to my planet." He took it and put it in something I could not see. He also pushed me out monsters piled and back to there planet they went. I decided to just go to get a smoothie at Cole's Snack Bar, it had been a long day.

The little green leprechaun.
One day I went to my uncle Taylor's house lookin to buy some hay for big Woodie but only saw something even scary. One day I went to uncle Tailor's. When I peeked through a hole in the door and saw that my uncle Tailor was a little green leprechaun. "Do the humans know about the lep-recon unit yet?" Then I said, "That sounds like leprechaun. I better tell everybody else." Then all the sudden every leprechaun disappeared, even my grandpa. Ten years had passed. I still hadn't seen my grandpa yet until weird things started happening. Four leaf clovers appeared all over around Vermont. Then sightings of little green leprechauns started showing up until the leprechauns leader showed up. It was Leponeanndinomite. Then me and Leponeanndinomite battled in the end he got killed. the end.

We had a GREAT trip to the Flynn with the 7th grade today. The performance of the history of Jackie Robinson's breaking of the color barrier was intense. I am glad we read a few books about his life and were prepared to see it acted out.

The children were wonderful audience members, and really enjoyed the performance.

This weekend I went skating with my dad in Milton. Saturday I went hunting with my dad , we got 4 crows .One of them wasn't fully dead and I almost stepped on it , and it scared me so much. Also on Saturday I went to my cousin's birthday party . Then Saturday night Stephanie came for a sleep over . Yesterday I went to my dad's hockey game .They lost 4-2 but, my dad scored one goal. Yesterday my mom came home. I was so glad . My mom got herself a shirt from Belize, and it says unbelizeable . She got me something from Roatan, Belize , Grand Cayman island, and Cozumel .That's what I did this weekend .

One day I was watching TV and then a big flash of light appeared. The next thing I know I am Peter Giffin from Family Guy. When I got out side and I see Stephen as Stewie, Jon as Quagmire and Noah as Chris. Then I see Stewie punching at Ciris I tell Stewie to say sorry so he did. I told Chris to punch him back he said "ya" . Then all the sudden Quagmier comes in and says who wants to go the movies and see a rated R one? Stewie did not like the movie one bit so he went home crying, but us 4 liked the movie and we all lived happly ever after except Stewie.

Plantations, Slavery, and The Middle Passage

Plantations are large farms that slaves work at.The slave catchers caught the slaves and threw them into the cargo hold. They would keep them there and sell them for money. Some of them might have died but the slave catchers tried their hardest to let them live. The slaves came from Africa and the slave catchers came from Europe. The boat's name was Amistad. They sailed through the Middle Passage, that was Africa to North and South America . What do you know about plantations, slavery and the Middle Passage?

I woke up this morning feeling like the size of a blueberry. I got out of my bed I looked down at my feet they were very small. I went to splash water on my face, but I couldn't reach the sink. "Mom" I yelled. "She can't hear me. If she can't hear me, well, if she can't come to me I'll come to her."I said. I climed up the comforters ran to my mom's ear, and yelled as loud as I could. I am going to write a story about Penguins.

One day I was at the zoo. "Help!There are 4 evil penguins on the loose!"said the zookeeper. 4 penguins walked up to me and said all toghether, "We are from the Southern Hemisphere." So I snuck them home and named them. One was Stephanie,one was Stephen,one was Coleman,and one was Flippy (he was black and silver with a red buttun in the middle of his stoamic). Stephanie kept saying "Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me!" Coleman was screaming at the top of his lungs "I WANT CHOCOLATE PIE!!!!!"

That's what it's like to live with talking penguins.

Penguin Power!

News!

We are planning a field trip to the Flynn Theater to watch a production chronicling the life of the famous baseball player, Jackie Robinson. The trip is on March 16 and we will be at the 12:00 show. We are sharing a bus with the North Hero School.


And......Math and Muffins will be held on Friday! We are doing some great work in division and our number corner work has some great fraction connections, and we are also conducting a science experiment on evaporation. I like that this math program makes connections between science and math.

Parent teacher conferences are also coming up, on March 18th. If you want to come in some morning ahead of that, just let me know and we can schedule a time.

On my vacation I went to Stephanie's birthday and we watched Percy Jackson Olympians Lightning Thief. The day before that I went to my uncle's house and my grandmother was there. She brought me in Best Buy and I got a PSP. Then we went to the mall and got the movie Zombieland, it was very funny. Then I got a hat and went to Ben & Jerry's. Comcast came and now I do not have to watch channel 3 all the time. I stayed up almost all night watching tv.
